Each month, we host community clothing drives to support individuals in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, collecting appropriate clothing for the season. Through the generosity of our community, we collect essential items and redistribute them directly to those who need them most.

 

We announce our monthly donation drop-off days on Instagram (@everthriving), where you can find all the details on when and where to bring your items. These donations go directly toward our on-the-ground service days.

 

Items we are currently accepting include:

• Clothing (especially warm layers, jackets, socks, and underwear)
• Men’s clothing (especially needed): pants, hoodies, jackets, and shoes
• Toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, menstrual products)
• Blankets, sleeping bags, and small essentials
• Non-perishable snacks and bottled water
• Any practical items that would support someone spending their days outdoors
• We also accept pet items! 

 

 Please ensure all clothing is clean and in good, wearable condition.

 

After each collection period, we organize a community giveaway at Oppenheimer Park, where items are distributed with care and respect. We also post flyers throughout the neighborhood to ensure the community is aware and can attend.This initiative is rooted in connection, dignity, and direct support — creating a space where people feel seen, valued, and supported.
